September was a busy and unpredictable month. Within the first few weeks of school, our classes began to increase which put most of them over the cap. Fortunately, we were able to create another class and hire another teacher so we could decrease the class sizes.
We had an assembly in the first week of school and our theme was Kindness. This is something that we will be visiting regularly throughout the year and we will be looking for ways to spread random acts of kindness throughout our community.
We were not able to have our annual Terry Fox Walk because of Hurricane Fiona. She came in fast and furious and left some destruction in her path. Many trees were toppled and power was out for a extended period of time. When school was finally back in session we were into a new month and some students were in new classes.
Hopefully October will be more consistent and predictable!
